With the spread of coronavirus in our country, in addition to the many public health problems posed by this situation, another side effect of the pandemic has been identified: an even greater problem than before has been encountered regarding feeding stray animals.
As Green Party – Citizens’ Cooperation we urge all citizens who would like to help with providing dry food, canned cat food or dog food to get in touch with our Party’s provincial offices.
At the same time, we appeal to all Municipalities – as they have rightly taken care for the provision and support of the elderly – to actively support animal shelters with food.
We are urging the Government to approve a financial grant for all animal shelters which will directly go to the shelters.
Especially during these difficult times that our country, and all of us, are going through, we must not forget our humanity and most importantly, not forget our beloved animals.
